Laser scanning for Haapsalu Cathedral and compilation of a 3D model
The purpose of the survey of Haapsalu Cathedral was to compile a 3D model that architects could use to plan the renovation of the building.
The church was laser-scanned inside and out and the resulting point clouds were combined into a single 3D point cloud model. Based on the point cloud, a 3D model of the existing church was created using Autodesk Revit.
